Where We Are

Current situation (keeping it real - we share the light and the heavy around here):

Jon and I are both going to Buffalo every day.

It’s 150 miles round trip each time.

And I am insisting we always drive separately.

~ Expensive - yes

~ Inefficient - yes

~ Bad for the planet - yes

~ Irrational - probably yes

But knowing if one of us were in an accident there would still be another parent around for our three kids who really need us in this season gives me a tiny bit of peace.

This is a privilege I do not take lightly.

And this is where my head and heart are right now.
