A Playground Dream Come True!

Let the happy tears commence! There were many years of advocating for and trying to figure out how to bring the children in my school a new inclusive playground to encourage play and creativity and fun.
When the capital project passed, I got to work with a great team who listened to our feedback - especially the feedback from children. The children wanted more swings - they got more swings. The children wanted shade - they got shade. (The children wanted monkey bars - they did not get monkey bars #brokenarms).
And fast forward to today. Today I got to see it lifted off a piece of paper in real life with my own two eyes. And it is beautiful!!! My heart is SO HAPPY!!
Hooray for new imaginative play opportunities for ALL our children now and in the future.
