Just a typical Saturday afternoon over here.

It’s been 19 years since we have picked out toilets together. They are kind of a big deal and I have very strong opinions about them.

An elongated bowl

Solid flushing capabilities

A wooden seat

A seat that FULLY covers the base

A seat that does not wobble from side to side

This typically requires an immediate additional toilet seat purchase to replace the seat that comes with the toilet. In fact, Jon MAY have discreetly replaced the plastic toilet seat on the model to a wooden add-on to make sure it fully covered the bowl before we made our final decisions.

To be clear, Jon does not share the same passion for toilets. But he also does not want to return toilets that don’t meet the above criteria and standard like he MAY have had to do in the past, so he is ALL IN with me here.

I feel so strongly about this that we even moved all our toilets from one home to another when we moved long ago.
